About Jenkintown Comfort Keepers
In 1999, Richard Reisman was looking for in-home care for his mother who was suffering from Alzheimer's. Unsatisfied with the quality of home care available in the Philadelphia area, Richard opened one of the very first Comfort Keepers agencies in the country in 2000. He made sure to hire only the very best caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors, and people who were disabled, ill, or recovering from surgery.
At Jenkintown Comfort Keepers, we help seniors and people with disabilities live happy, healthy lives in the comfort of their own homes. We do this by providing expert, compassionate care and safety technology solutions to preserve independence and contribute to a better life.
Richard's children, Michele Berman and Marc Reisman, joined the business when Richard was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2007.
"A year before our father died, I came into the company. He really wanted us to go on with the agency. It is his legacy, and that's what motivates us every day," says Michele.
Our offices are located in Jenkintown and Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and our promise is to provide the type of care our founder sought for his mother over a decade ago.
